Hi, my name is Chris Draves. I am based in Middleton, Wisconsin. I created this course for people who want to improve the way they take pictures without having to become an expert in photography. All cameras are welcome.
My photography is primarily focused on outdoor scenes. I love to capture sunrises, sunsets, and pictures featuring landscapes in southwestern Wisconsin. My approach to photography starts with the composition, using the camera to capture images that make the viewer wish they were in the scene at that moment. Composition
You will learn how to use composition tools to capture, frame and tell a story with your photos.
Planning
You will learn strategies for planning a sunrise (or sunset) picture. This include picking a spot, finding the suns path for anytime of year and what to look for in the minutes before sunrise.
Workflow
You will know how to develop a workflow from capture to your desired outcome of your pictures. We will review best practices for saving and backing up your images.
